Innoveer Acquires Onagio Software To Empower Legacy CRM Social Business Success

BOSTON, Mass., April 1, 2012 /LegacyNewswire/ – Innoveer Solutions is excited to announce its acquisition of Onagio Software, in a deal that promises to deliver revolutionary new social CRM capabilities to users of legacy systems.

Onagio’s Cutting-Edge Software Advances State Of The Art

Onagio Software’s software enables organizations to use old, fully depreciated hardware to power their modern customer relationship management (CRM) and social business needs, without the expense or hassle of modern GUI-based desktops or expensive Microsoft Office environments.

Onagio Software built its reputation designing software for the entertainment and defense sectors before moving into social media. The company brings with it a strong customer portfolio, including flagship customer the Belarus Ministry of Defense, for which it has supported an extensive number of cutting-edge social media software integrations.

With the close of the Onagio Software acquisition, Aristotele Onagio will continue to lead Onagio, as well as serve as Innoveer’s new Director Of Legacy Integration For Social Media. Prior to starting Onagio Software, Onagio served as CEO of Trasformazione Casearia Corp (TCC), a University of Milan spin-off company that focused on perfecting the taste of cheese through electronic means. He has also served as Chief Catering Officer for Olivetti SpA.

Onagio Software’s 1,100 professionals in their Milan, Bay City (Michigan), Minsk (Belarus) and Navi Mumbai (India) locations are expected to continue working on the cutting edge products such as Social2Mainframe, Social2Appliance and Social2Reports.

Strong Growth Potential Says CRM Market Indicator

Howard “Bucky” Jones, analyst at CRM Hourly News in Boise, Idaho, said the Innoveer acquisition of Onagio Software deal promised to rapidly advance the CRM social media integration market in unforeseen directions. “This market is deserving, but underserved,” said Jones. According to the “CRM Market Indicator Legacy Trends 2012–2016” report, released last month, the market is expected to grow by 4% per year.

Planned future Onagio Software applications will deliver social media capabilities to numerous legacy platforms, including AS/400, RPG, COBOL, Fortran, and Siebel.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed, although federal regulators stipulated that the acquisition could only close on April 1, 2012.
